Zero-Tolerance Statement on the Protection of the Reputation and Legal Rights of the International Institute of Film Science & Arts (IIFSA)

The International Institute of Film Science & Arts (IIFSA) is a duly established international institution dedicated to film science research, artistic scholarship, global cultural exchange, and professional awards programs. IIFSA maintains the highest standards of academic integrity, institutional credibility, and international reputation.

Recently, certain individuals and/or organizations have engaged in the dissemination of false statements, malicious allegations, misleading narratives, and defamatory content, causing serious harm to the reputation, public credibility, and lawful operations of IIFSA.

In response, IIFSA hereby issues the following solemn statement:

1. Zero-Tolerance Policy

IIFSA adopts a zero-tolerance stance toward any form of defamation, reputational harm, false accusations, or malicious dissemination of untrue information. This position applies to all acts committed online or offline, domestically or internationally.

2. Legal Action

With respect to any confirmed or ongoing infringement, IIFSA has initiated and will continue to initiate legal proceedings without delay, including but not limited to:

Retaining professional legal counsel;

Commencing legal action against the infringing parties at the earliest possible opportunity;

Seeking full legal remedies, including financial compensation for economic losses and reputational damages, in accordance with applicable laws.

3. Evidence Preservation

IIFSA has undertaken systematic evidence collection and preservation, including digital records, publication histories, dissemination channels, and identification of responsible parties. Such evidence will be used in judicial and legal proceedings.

4. Formal Notice to Infringing Parties

IIFSA hereby formally demands that the relevant individuals and/or organizations:

Immediately cease all infringing activities;

Remove, retract, or correct all false or misleading statements;

Take effective measures to mitigate and eliminate adverse impacts.

Failure to comply will result in IIFSA pursuing all available legal remedies to the fullest extent, with all resulting legal and financial consequences borne solely by the infringing parties.

5. Reservation of Rights

IIFSA expressly reserves all rights to take any further legal action deemed necessary under applicable laws and jurisdictions.

This statement is hereby issued with immediate effect.
